Seb Trillo kicks off our first instalment of Virtual Ground single releases with ‘Faith’. A composition built with cinematic influences; Faith uses and abuses the famous breaks of the 90’s and combines them with glittery ascending harmonies leading to the creation a joyfully tense scene into the spoken words of Allan Watts. Distant from Seb’s usual style the idea for the track was born after re discovering Djrum.

‘After listening to ‘Induction’ I couldn’t stop thinking about merging a cinematic soundtrack with call and responce breaks. The two styles are so contrasting it can bring such an incredible amount of energy into a track that I had never thought about trying before’.

The track title ‘Faith’ derives from the spoken words of Allan Watts where he lectures about letting go of ones self, a theme which we feel runs parallel to the aura of the track.
